Hang Tuah’ is happy to be blessed with twins
THE ACTOR who continues to be remembered for playing the role of Hang Tuah in the Puteri Gunung Ledang (PGL) musical theater in 2006, Stephen Rahman Hughes, shared the good news on his Instagram recently.
Not ‘ double the trouble, but double the joy ‘… That is perhaps the most suitable phrase for him and his wife, Anjalina Mehra to start February this year.
Either way, the couple were blessed with twin boys – named Sonny Rain and Remy Jude – who were born safely in the United Kingdom last week.
“Today my life underwent a big change. Twins!
“My wife gave birth again with two cute boys,” he wrote on his social media.
In the same status, Hughes also recalls the moment his wife faced a very challenging experience while giving birth to their first child, Aphra, about 18 months ago.
“Our lives are more meaningful with the presence of these three little ‘angels’.
“We have always hoped and worked for a long time, patiently waiting for the arrival of offspring. We are very grateful,” he said, who is also the lead of the film Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa .
Meanwhile, PGL Executive Producer, Datin Seri Tiara Jacquelina also congratulated the couple.
“Oh wow, I’m so happy for you both. I cried when I read this.
“I can’t wait to meet the five of you if I go to London one day,” he wrote.
Stephen married Anjali in Tuscany, Italy in 2010.
As a result of their life sharing, they were blessed with their first child who is also a girl, Aphra in 2021.
