The family of Dnars’s founder made the MACC report

KOTA BHARU: After a police report requesting a transparent investigation into the death of Dnars Skincare beauty product founder, Faziani Rohban Ahmad, his family today came forward to lodge a report with the Malaysian Anti -Corruption Commission (MACC).

The eldest brother of the deceased, Mohd Faisal Rohban Ahmad, 48, who was accompanied by his family’s appointed lawyer, Lt Col (B) Azhar Ahmad, arrived at the Kelantan MACC office at 2.30pm this afternoon.

Azhar said the report was related to the matter of bringing back the deceased’s body to Malaysia, which was allegedly suspicious, in 2019.

“From the information that has been gathered, there is an element of non -compliance with the procedure of bringing in the deceased’s body from Thailand back to his home in Tumpat.

“We have completed the report (related to the allegation) submitted to the MACC and hope that a detailed investigation can be done.

“In the report, among the contents … based on the information received from the Pasir Mas Health Office, it does not satisfy the family members.

“It involves import permit matters, where it is not made according to the prescribed procedure,” he said here, on Sunday.

Azhar explained that the import permit issued must follow the mandatory conditions and must obtain a letter from the Consulate Office in Songkhla.

Recently, the family of the deceased lodged a police report as they suspected that there were suspicious elements regarding the death of the beauty product entrepreneur.

Faziani died in a road accident in Pattani, Thailand at about 10.30am on May 19, 2019 after a Toyota Estima driven by her husband crashed into the back of a lorry on its way to deliver zakat donations at Pondok Krong, Yala.
