Queen Elizabeth II dies: Negeri Sembilan flags fly at half-mast this Monday
SEREMBAN: Yang di-Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir has consented for the state flag to be flown at half-mast this Monday to show respect for the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
Negeri Sembilan Government Secretary Datuk Dr Razali Ab Malik said the order was also a sign of respect for the passing of Queen Elizabeth II at Balmoral Castle, Scotland after 70 years on the throne which is the longest reigning monarchy in British history.
“Tuanku Muhriz has consented for the Negeri Sembilan flag to be flown at half-mast on Monday, Sept 19 to show His Majesty’s respect for Queen Elizabeth II who passed away on Sept 8,” he said in a statement here today.
Accordingly, he said the state government upholds the order and instructs all departments and agencies in the state to fly the Negeri Sembilan flag at half-mast.
