Police seized various types of drugs with the arrest of three suppliers in a raid at an entertainment center in the Klang Valley on Sunday.
KUALA LUMPUR: Police confiscated various types of drugs with the arrest of three suppliers in a raid at an entertainment center in the Klang Valley on Sunday.
Bukit Aman’s Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (JSJN) said that the Op Entertainment Center raid was carried out in collaboration with the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ).
“In this operation, a total of 155 people were checked and nine arrested.
“The investigation found that three of the suspects are drug suppliers,” he said in a statement on JSJN’s official Facebook on Sunday.
He added that the police also confiscated 44.07 grams of MDMA powder, 1.22 grams of ketamine, 500 pills of erimin 5 with an estimated value of the seizure amounting to RM9,100.
He said the case was investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act (ADB) 1952, Section 39A(1) ADB 1952, Section 12(2) ADB 1952 and Section 15(1) (a) ADB 1952.
Strictly speaking, action was also taken in accordance with Section 6 of the Selangor State Entertainment and Places of Entertainment Enactment 1995 and the Immigration Act 1959/63.
“People who have any information on drug trafficking are asked to pass it on to the JSJN hotline at 012-2087222,” he said.
