Big Stage 2023: Hoondoo fell in love with Malay songs because of Aina Abdul
According to Hoondoo, Aina Abdul was the first singer who made them fall in love with Malay songs.

Not only giving reactions, but Hoondoo also sang a lot of cover songs by Malaysian singers.
But, how do they know Malaysian singers and songs?
They said singer Aina Abdul was the first singer who made them fall in love with Malay songs.
“At first we heard Aina singing Korean songs on YouTube, after that we searched for Aina’s songs on YouTube and we fell in love.
“So the first song we cover is Negaraku and the next is Aina’s song Sepi,” said Hoon and Doo to the media.
Not only Aina Abdul’s song, but Hoondoo has also sung the song Kesetiaan (Siti Sarah), Hutang (Floor88), Gundah (Ernie Zakri), and Cindai sung by Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza.
At the same time, Hoondoo also stated that they are ready to sing Malay songs on the Big Stage.
However, if they are given a traditional rhythm song, there may be a little difficulty for them because they have to learn the correct traditional rhythm.
“In Korea, we learn the language by using Google Translate, but here we have Cikgu Shafi who helps us learn Malay.
“We are ready to bring Malay songs and traditional rhythms but it might be a little difficult because the rhythm needs to be right,” they added.
The appearance of Hoondoo warmed up the Big Stage 2023 stage which just opened last Sunday.
Either way, their first appearance on the Malaysian singing stage continued to bear fruit when they won the Domination of the Best Performance chosen by the jury, thus occupying the first place with 81 marks.
