Jaclyn Victor who sang 2 songs; It’s All Coming Back To Me Now by Celine Dion and This Is Me by Keala Settle & The Greatest Showman Ensemble beat five other contestants consisting of Shila Amzah, Bob Yusof, Tomok, Hazrul Nizam and VE.

Jaclyn Victor Winner of Gegar Vaganza 9 managed to take home the main prize of RM100,000, the Gegar Vaganza trophy, accommodation at the Royale Chulan Cherating and a vacation to Paris and at the same time clinched the Star Memakau Adabi Award. Before that, Jac also won the Next Level Digi Champion Award.
The runner-up, Bob Yusof managed to bring home RM50,000 in cash, a trophy, an accommodation package at Royale Chulan Damansara and a holiday package to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He also performed 2 songs, Rahasia Perempuan from Ari Lasson and Sejati, an original song by Wings
Third place was also embraced by Shila Amzah who performed the song Tak Ada Logika originally sung by Agnes Monica and Secret Love Song from Little Mix & Jason Derulo. He managed to bring home a cash prize of RM30,000, a Gegar Vaganza trophy, an accommodation package at Royale Chulan and a vacation to Seoul, Korea.
Fourth place was won by Tomok who managed to bring home RM20,000 in cash, a trophy, an accommodation package at Royale Chulan, Seremban and a holiday in Chiang Mai, Thailand. On the night, Tomok performed the song Berhenti Berharapa originally sung by Shiela On 7 and Time Is Running Out by Muse.
While the fifth place was won by VE who performed the song “Ikhlas Tapi Jauh” originally sung by R.A.P and “Kaima Kala Aku Tidak Baik-Baik Saja” sung by Judika. The participants of the group took home a prize of RM15,000, a trophy and a holiday package and accommodation in Dalat Vietnam and Royale Chulan.
Hazrul Nizam was satisfied in sixth place and managed to bring home a cash prize of RM10,000, a trophy and a holiday package to Jakarta, Indonesia. He performed the song Crazy by Gnarls Barkley and Terlanjur Cinta originally sung by Hael Husaini & Cakra Khan.
For the battle round, Hazrul Nizam was paired with Bob Yusof by performing the songs Ice Ice Baby and Swipe. VE with Jaclyn Victor for the song The Real Slim Shady and Sang Saka Biru. While Tomok and Shila Amzah for the third couple performed for the songs Too Legit To Quit and Party Sampai Pagi.
All the performances of the six finalists of Gegar Vaganza 9 were evaluated by 3 permanent judges namely Datuk Ramli MS, Hetty Koes Endang’s mother and Datuk Syafinaz along with a guest judge namely Edry Abdul Halim.
GV9 has been on air for 11 weeks which airs every Sunday, at 9.00pm on Astro Ria channel 104 or can also be streamed online at astrogo.astro.com.my
