ChezKamya Professional, the smart joint of Erna and Chez Hamdan
ONCE closed his salon, the famous hairdresser, Chez Hamdan did not expect the meeting of entrepreneur and artist, Erna Elliyana Rosli to rekindle her passion to continue her love that was stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
Then, there was a smart partnership or ‘smart partnership’ between the two bumiputera entrepreneurs through the presence of a multi-attraction salon called ChezKamya Professional located at Lot A-1-11, Sentul Point, Jalan Sentul Pasar.
The salon officially started operating on August 20. However, the launch of the salon themed ‘Retro’ conducted by Ikhwan Rosli took place happily on September 9.
Chez, 36, or her full name, Halimi Hamdan has more than 10 years of experience in the hair beauty industry.
While Erna, 34, is a young artist of the 1990s who is increasingly known for her variety of beauty supplement products, Kamya Glow.
“I am grateful that the meeting with Erna resulted in new enthusiasm for me to return to open a beauty salon. This is not a short-term project, but a forever collaboration. God willing.
“Both me and Erna will also sell our respective products. There is even a learning center for those interested in learning how to make hair beauty treatments.
“At this salon, we offer professional services with beautiful and handsome results. We also offer an exclusive place so customers will feel happy when they visit our salon,” said Chez.
With an area of 3,600 square feet, this salon provides a customer space equipped with 15 seats.
“11 in a public or open place. Apart from two in the VIP section. While the remaining two are in the Muslim section for veiled women.
“The VIP room is dedicated to customers who want privacy, comfort and also exclusive treatment because customers are also served a cup of coffee and snacks.
“Also provided is a comfortable waiting room and a prayer room,” said Chez.
Talking about the interwoven collaboration, Chez said it was a smart collaboration especially in improving the economy of both sides.
“The partnership between Kamya and Chez Professional started when I got to know the founder of Kamya Glow, Erna herself.
“That’s where the idea to work together came from, considering that beauty and hair health are actually closely related.
“ChezKamya Professional is a hair salon brand that complements beauty and hair from Chez Professional, while health and beauty is Kamya’s philosophy,” said Chez.
Among the celebrities who often get hairdressing services from Chez are Nad Zainal, Norman Hakim, Hairul Azreen, Shiha Zikir and many others.
Not just an ordinary hair salon, this salon is a one-stop center that also emphasizes the beauty and health of hair both in terms of products and services provided.
According to Erna, this salon also introduces 15 ranges of hair care products.
Chewable vitamins from Kamya
“In line with the opening of this salon, we at Kamya also introduced the newest product, Sugeheir, which is a chewable vitamin. This product is packed with nutrition for healthy and thick hair growth.
“Other products available at this salon are Kamya Glow, Lipmatte + Lipgloss (KamyaXBobocinta), Lipbalm Woman, Lipbalm Men, Cleaskyn and Whiteze.
“It is at once in line with the tagline of my product brand which is #’Cantik itu who? You are beautiful,” said Erna who had previously participated in singing competitions such as Sinaran Passport Kegemilangan 2000, Malaysian Idol 2004, One In A Million 2006 and acted in several local dramas and films.
