Bob Lokman gradually recovered after 17 days in hospital
KUALA LUMPUR: Well -known lyricist, Bob Lokman is gradually recovering after 17 days of hospital treatment due to heart failure.
According to Bob, 58, his condition is now stable after receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Sultan Ahmad Shah Treatment Center, International Islamic University Malaysia (Sasmec@IIUM) in Kuantan, Pahang and the National Heart Institute (IJN).
“At the Sultan Ahmad Shah Treatment Center I was treated for 14 days while at IJN for two days.
“Alhamdulillah, my condition is stable and now I am resting at home in Kelantan,” he told Astro AWANI when contacted today.
Bob or his real name, Mohd Hakim Lokman explained, he calmed down with the test given even though he had to set aside fasting for the sake of undergoing treatment.
In 2020, Bob underwent surgery to insert an Implantable Automatic Cardioverter Defibrillator (IACD) to stabilize his heartbeat at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital, Alor Setar.
Lyricist Isabella, Taman Rashidah Utama, Rendang Tak Berbuah and many more thanked all those who did not stop praying for her health.
“For the past 10 years, I have always been in and out of the hospital for treatment. This year in the month of Ramadan, I was tested in the ICU.
“I am relieved because every test given is a sign of God’s love for us his servants,” he added.
Bob, who has long been inactive in the art world, now runs a business selling floss.
