ASA 2022: Astro AWANI wins the Best TV News Special Report category
PUTRAJAYA: Astro AWANI once again made history when it won the Best TV News Special Report category at the Anugerah Seri Angkasa (ASA 2022).
Exclusive report on the road issue ‘ Kajang Bypass, Highway Or Pusara? ‘ prepared by journalist, Mohammad Hilmi Ab Malik together with cameraman, Mohd Sallehin Hussain managed to win the category.
The victory allowed them to take home a cash prize amounting to RM5,000 and a trophy.
The prestigious award was organized by the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (K-KOMM) and took place in full splendor at the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC).
In addition to that category, ASA 2022 also featured several others including Best TV Promo, Best TV Montage, Best TV Journalist and Best TV Special Effects.
ASA 2022 takes place over two days starting October 29 which is also hosted by Awal Ashaari and Jeed Zulkefli.
