Stunt actor Iko Uwais was charged with beating an interior decoration contractor
The Indonesian entertainment world was shocked by the news that actor Iko Uwais was accused of beating up an interior decoration contractor who had done work and beautified his residence.
Iko who is quite popular as a stunt actor including starring in Hollywood movies such as “Mile 22” and “The Raid” is alleged to have committed the act with a man known as Firmansyah.
According to a Kompas report , Iko Uwais hit an interior decoration contractor known as Rudi last Saturday after a ‘war of words’ at his residence.
Rudi claimed to have been called Iko Uwais while passing in front of the actor’s house.
“After that, there was a war of words. Iko Uwais and Firmansyah continued to hit Rudi until he was injured.
“Rudi then made a police report,” the media reported.
Because he was beaten and injured, Rudi lodged a report at the Bekasi police station and on the same day, Iko Uwais also came to the same station for a report of injuring someone.
According to the chronology, Rudi has long demanded another portion of Iko’s unpaid payment after completing the interior decoration work done on the residence of Iko and his wife, singer Audi Item.
However, the request, including WhatsApp messages, was never answered by the 39 -year -old star.
