Cheers, ‘standing ovation’ as a sign of support for Hafiz Suip
THE APPEARANCE of singer Hafiz Suip at the ByAjai & Mega Friends Concert stage at the Megastar Arena, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday night received thunderous cheers and applause from the audience.
There was even an audience who also gave a ‘standing ovation’ to the singer born in Kuching, Sarawak as if to encourage him who had previously stated that he was no longer relevant in the industry.
The thunderous support and applause last night shows that Hafiz is still loved by the fans.
Maybe it’s been a long time since he appeared in public, causing Hafiz who appeared in a black suit embroidered with red sequins to be unable to hide his nervousness so he entered by mistake while singing his first song Ku Akui.
“I’m a little nervous today. I did it for Ajai’s brother and the fans who came today,” he said.
Meanwhile, Hafiz also said he was in good condition when asked by Ajai where he disappeared to.
“Actually, I’m just there. It’s just that now I prefer to know myself,” he said again.
Before appearing to sing the song Tak Mingung Kerna Sayang by Datin Alyah, Ajai had time to leave some messages to Hafiz not to leave the art industry.
“Many love you. Hafiz is a strong man. Remember my message, don’t leave the art industry and don’t love people too much,” Ajai said.
At the same time, Ajai also praised Hafiz’s voice which he described as quite extraordinary.
“When he opens his mouth, the first note gives the right impression.
“During the recording process with me, Hafiz had several hit songs such as Matahari and Noktah Cinta,” he said.
Earlier Ajai seemed to give the impression that Hafiz was going through a difficult situation.
Ajai or real name Mohamad Faizal Maas, 49, however, only left a message to Hafiz to stay strong and confident that the singer can face the situation.
Besides Hafiz, the concert also features other hebal singers such as Dayang Nurfaizah, Hazama, Aina Abdul and Aufahanie.
