Actor Kamal Adli was injured after being beaten with a stick in Singapore
KUALA LUMPUR: The country’s popular actor, Kamal Adli was seriously injured in the head after being beaten by a man with a bat in Singapore, last night.
According to his wife who is also an actress Uqasha Senrose, the incident happened after they both attended an event in the city.
As a result of Kamal’s injuries, Uqasha said, her husband was rushed to the hospital and had to be put to sleep before being operated on.
Uqasha claimed that the incident happened when the two of them were attending to the request of a woman in a wheelchair who wanted to take a photo of memories around 9 to 10 pm.
“Me and Kamal took a picture with the aunt. Suddenly, a man came and asked, where is Kamal? We thought he was a fan.
“Kamal then reprimanded the man. Suddenly the man took out his coat from his pocket and hit the back of Kamal’s head several times.
“Kamal’s blood was on his shirt. When Kamal raised his head, he hit his cheekbone. The man then hit Kamal’s body many times,” claimed Uqasha to the BH Online portal who contacted her in Singapore.
Shortly after the incident, Uqasha shared a short video on her personal Instagram (IG) account.
In tears, Uqasha wrote a note asking for people’s prayers for her husband who had to undergo surgery at a hospital in Singapore.
“I can’t go into the operating room now. Only, I can make a police report in Singapore,” she said.
Not only attacked Kamal, in fact, Uqasha claimed, her siblings who were with them during the incident were also threatened by the individual involved.
