KUALA LUMPUR: PAS asks all its leaders and members not to make any statements or comments regarding the latest developments involving other parties with PAS, through any media or communication channels without the party’s special permission.
PAS Secretary-General, Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan, in a statement today explained that the directive applies to all party leaders and members.
“All parties are asked to remain calm and leave matters like this to the President and the Party leadership who will handle it carefully in the near future,” he said in the statement.
The statement followed the latest political developments when PAS President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang stressed that the party would not bow to Bersatu’s antics and would review its relationship with its coalition partner, Perikatan Nasional (PN).
Abdul Hadi said the action followed one by one the contradictions and negative actions allegedly taken by Bersatu, which caused his party’s displeasure.
