
Westgate Las Vegas Honors Elvis Presley’s 90th Birthday with Yearlong Celebration
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 14, 2025 / — Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, a historic property famously linked with Elvis Presley, has launched a yearlong celebration in honor of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s 90th birthday.
The festivities began today with a champagne toast led by Cami Christensen, President and General Manager of Westgate Las Vegas. The celebration took place in the hotel’s lobby, which was specially transformed for the occasion. Christensen was joined by Elvis’ stepbrother David Stanley, who is also the star of Westgate’s My Brother Elvis: An Evening with David Stanley. Stanley shared intimate stories about Elvis, allowing fans to gain a deeper connection to the legend.
“Elvis’s legacy is deeply ingrained in the history of Westgate Las Vegas,” said Stanley. “This celebration reflects his lasting influence, not just on this property but on the city and his fans worldwide.”
The day’s celebrations continued with Elvis-inspired activities for guests, including music and live performances. Highlights included:
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Elvis DJ spinning classic hits
7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Performance by The King Comes Home Elvis Tribute Show at the International Bar stage
All Day: Specialty Elvis-themed cocktails, photo opportunities with the iconic Elvis statue, memorabilia display, and giant birthday cards for fans to sign.
Looking ahead, the yearlong celebration will feature more Elvis-themed events, such as:
“Love Me Tender” Month (February 2025): A month dedicated to romance with special packages, dining deals, and Elvis-themed festivities.
Viva Las Vegas Month (July 2025): A monthlong tribute with live music, events, and promotions reflecting Elvis’ legendary Las Vegas residency.
