Puteri UMNO Activates Preparedness Plan for Sabah Election

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 – The Puteri UMNO Malaysia movement has activated a preparedness plan ahead of the 17th Sabah State Election (PRN), as an effort to strengthen the young women’s machinery in the state.

Its leader, Datuk Nurul Amal Mohd Fauzi, said his party had implemented various measures since the beginning of the year to ensure Barisan Nasional (BN) victory in the Sabah state election.

The UMNO princess is highlighting young female candidates from this wing to be given space and submitting a list of names to the top BN leadership as a reflection of the progressive and inclusive tastes of young Sabah voters.”

“The UMNO princess is committed to ensuring the role of young women is not only as grassroots mobilisers, but also part of the leadership ranks that strengthen the people’s confidence in the party and build Sabah’s political future based on stability for prosperity.”

“The Malaysian UMNO princess has been working for a long time from the beginning of the year until now to ensure BN’s victory in the Sabah state election,” he told UMNO Online.

Commenting further, Nurul Amal said that Puteri UMNO will continue to reach out to young people through various impactful leisure programs.

“For the young people in Sabah on October 18, Puteri UMNO will collaborate with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to make a successful programme called ‘Sabahan Culture Fun Run’.

“We hope that young people in Sabah will come together to participate in this program,” he said.

He added that organising such a programme is not just a recreational activity, but also a platform for Puteri UMNO to listen to the voices and aspirations of the younger generation in the state.

“The UMNO princess wants to know what the young people of Sabah want, and we are ready to be the voice of the young people of Sabah, especially ahead of the upcoming State Election (PRN),” he said.
