PH prioritizes the people’s agenda, does not underestimate new parties – Fahmi

KOTA BHARU: Pakatan Harapan (PH) will not look on indifferently and take for granted the existence of several new parties such as the National Vision Party (PWN) and the United Malaysia Party (BERSAMA).

PH Communications Director Datuk Fahmi Fadzil said, on the contrary, the party machinery would redouble its efforts to reach out to the people to solve their problems more effectively.

“I give you an example, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh ended the 44-year wait of the residents of the Bukit Kiara Longhouse (in Kuala Lumour) to get new housing.

“So, in choosing leaders, we have to choose those who are clean and good and think about the future of the country,” he said after the presentation of the credentials of the Chairman of the Advisory Panel of the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) for Kelantan here today.

Asked about PH’s preparations for the Johor State Election (PRN), Fahmi, who is also PKR’s Information Chief, said the process of screening candidate names was underway and would be announced after approval from the party leadership.

The Election Commission (EC) has set July 11 as polling day for the Johor state election with June 27 as nomination day and early voting on July 7.
