KUCHING, October 6 — Users of MyDigital ID and SarawakPass can now use either platform to access selected online services that have been integrated with both systems.
The integration means SarawakPass users can scan a MyDigital ID QR code to access participating federal websites, while MyDigital ID users can scan a SarawakPass QR code to access participating Sarawak websites.
For now, the arrangement applies only to websites that have integrated with both MyDigital ID and SarawakPass.
The development was marked at the Sarawak Pavilion during the International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak (IDECS) 2026 here, yesterday.
For MyDigital ID, the integration extends its reach into Sarawak’s digital services ecosystem. The national digital identity platform currently has 14.1 million users and 203 integrated services.
MyDigital ID chief executive officer Nik Hisham Nik Ibrahim said the integration would bring the national identity foundation closer to people in Sarawak while supporting the state’s own digital needs.
“Through this integration, SarawakPass brings the trust of the national identity foundation closer to the people of Sarawak, tailored to Sarawak’s own needs.
“MyDigital ID congratulates the Sarawak Government on this milestone and looks forward to continuing our efforts to expand this ecosystem together,” he said in a statement.
The integration is expected to expand in the coming months to selected mobile applications that are already enabled with MyDigital ID, allowing SarawakPass users to access those services through SarawakPass.
SarawakPass has also expanded its single sign-on services to corporate platforms, including SEB Cares, Sarawak Water and AirBorneo.
The two-way integration gives users of both platforms a simpler way to move between participating digital services without having to maintain separate identities for each service.
