adminKUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20 (Bernama) — The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Tuesday, tracking the cash market performance.
At the close, the October 2026 contract strengthened 9.5 points to 1,596.0, November 2026 expanded by 8.0 points to 1,596.0, December 2026 went up 9.0 points to 1,602.5, and March 2027 rose 8.5 points to 1,585.5.
Turnover increased to 9,290 lots from 6,265 lots on Monday, while open interest was higher at 48,988 contracts, compared with 46,156 contracts yesterday.
At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) gained 3.83 points, or 0.24 per cent, to 1,599.58 from Monday’s close of 1,595.75.
