KUALA LUMPUR: UMNO has postponed this year’s UMNO Divisional Delegates’ Meeting as well as the Wanita, Youth and Puteri wings to focus fully on preparations for the Johor State Election (PRN).
UMNO secretary-general Datuk Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said the decision, which was agreed by the party’s Supreme Council, was aimed at ensuring that members at all levels could assist in the work to face the state election.
“In this regard, to ensure that the Women, Youth and Puteri representative meetings that need to be held in accordance with the UMNO Constitution, they will be held simultaneously throughout the country from 17 to 19 July.
