Casio Introduces Two Affordable Celviano Digital Pianos in the U.S.
DOVER, N.J., Feb. 6, 2025 – Casio is expanding its acclaimed Celviano digital piano series in the U.S. with the launch of two new entry-level models: the AP-300 and AP-S200. Designed to deliver the authentic touch and sound of a grand piano at an accessible price, these instruments blend advanced technology with elegant craftsmanship.
First introduced in 1991, Celviano digital pianos have gained a strong reputation for their rich sound quality, responsive touch, and reliability. The new models inherit acoustic and sound source technologies from Casio’s higher-end pianos, ensuring an immersive playing experience.
The AP-300 boasts a classic design with gold accents, while the AP-S200 features a slim 11.8-inch profile, making it ideal for smaller spaces. Both models include a slow-closing key cover for safety and a three-pedal system for enhanced playability.
Equipped with a 2-channel, 2-speaker sound system, the pianos produce a natural, expansive sound similar to a grand piano. A “Volume Sync Equalizer” ensures balanced audio at low volumes, while a specially tuned “Headphone Mode” provides an immersive experience for private practice.
Casio’s Smart Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard replicates the nuanced touch of a grand piano, with ivory-like white keys and textured ebony-like black keys for a luxurious feel. Players can explore 19 built-in tones, including grand piano sounds with dynamic expression.
Both models come with the WU-BT10 Wireless MIDI & Audio Adapter, allowing seamless Bluetooth connectivity to smartphones, tablets, and apps like Casio Music Space. This integration enables interactive lessons, sheet music annotation, and audio playback through the piano’s speakers.
