Nestled on Level 7M of the Marriott Executive Apartments Kuala Lumpur, the newly launched bistro offers a casually elegant dining experience, fusing local heritage with contemporary flair.
At the helm of this gastronomic venture is Chef Parthiban Nalliah, affectionately known as Chef Burn. A proud Bagan Datuk native with nearly three decades of culinary expertise, Chef Burn aims to challenge the norm when it comes to traditional Malaysian fare.
“I’ve always loved our local food, but noticed that in many well-known eateries, the local offerings tend to play it safe. I wanted to challenge that,” said Chef Burn.
“It’s about giving people something familiar, yet different. Something comforting but also exciting.”
To bring that vision to life, the bistro’s menu celebrates Malaysia’s diverse flavours with bold reinterpretations and elevated techniques.
Diners can expect a vibrant spread, from the smoky Charred Melaka Prawns to the deeply aromatic Coastal Curry, each dish telling a story of heritage and innovation.
