AI Seminar Brings Cutting-Edge Technology Knowledge to Kota Kemuning Community

Kota Kemuning, 10 August — The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping how we work, learn, and interact.

Recognising the importance of educating the public about this transformative technology, Preakas Sampunathan, State Assemblyman (ADUN) for Kota Kemuning, hosted the Artificial Intelligence

Seminar on 9 August at Dewan Kenanga, aimed at raising awareness and deepening the community’s understanding of AI and its vast potential.

The seminar brought together technology experts, industry practitioners, and community leaders to share insights on the real-life applications of AI, its impact across various sectors, and the job opportunities emerging in a future tech-driven economy.

“AI is not just a buzzword—it’s already part of our daily lives. Through this seminar, I want the people of Kota Kemuning to be prepared, competitive, and capable of leading in the digital era,” said YB Preakas Sampunathan in his opening remarks.

The programme featured interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and an engaging Q&A segment, all of which received an enthusiastic response from participants.

A total of 300 attendees—including students, entrepreneurs, professionals, and members of the public—took part, reflecting a growing interest in learning about new technologies.

Preakas further affirmed that similar initiatives will continue to be expanded as part of his ongoing efforts to empower the community through education, innovation, and digital inclusivity.
