adminKUALA LUMPUR, April 3 (Bernama)– Affin Bank Bhd has received approval from Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) to acquire the entire equity interest in Pheim Asset Management (Pheim AM) Sdn Bhd for RM50 million.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the bank said BNM vide its letter dated April 2, 2026, which was received today, approved the proposed acquisition.
“The approval is subject to Affin Bank undertaking post-completion reviews of certain operational processes of the Pheim AM Group, amongst others, review by an independent external party before system integration,” it said.
