adminKUALA LUMPUR, Sept 25 (Bernama) — Adabi Frozen Food Sdn Bhd is strengthening its presence in the international halal food market, having entered Brunei and preparing to expand into Kuwait.
Chief Executive Officer of Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd Syed Mahadzir Datuk Syed Manshor said the company’s participation in the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2026 was part of its efforts to develop new markets and strengthen business relationships.
“Our participation in MIHAS 2026 reflects Adabi’s commitment to strengthening our presence in the halal food industry while creating new opportunities for growth. Our participation in international trade platforms allows us to connect with potential partners and explore new markets,” he said in a statement.
Adabi Frozen Food will continue to focus on market development, strategic partnerships and expanding its presence in selected international markets.
Its participation in MIHAS 2026 follows its showcase in Fine Food Australia 2026, while the company is scheduled to take part in Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL) Paris. 2026 from Oct 17 to 21.
“We see strong potential in taking our frozen food offerings beyond Malaysia. Through platforms such as MIHAS, Fine Food Australia and SIAL Paris, we are able to introduce our products to a wider audience, strengthen business relationships and support the continued growth of Adabi Frozen Food internationally,” he said.
These platforms provide opportunities to engage with international buyers, distributors and food industry stakeholders, as well as identify potential business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships in new markets.
As part of its participation in MIHAS 2026, Adabi Frozen Food also held a product launch at the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (KUSKOP) Pavilion, Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), yesterday.
The launch was attended by Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong, KUSKOP Secretary-General Dato’ Sri Khairul Dzaimee Daud and Deputy Secretary-General (Entrepreneur Development) Datuk Saidatu Akhma Hassan.
MIHAS 2026, held from Sept 23 to 26 at MITEC, brings together industry players, entrepreneurs, buyers and investors from Malaysia and abroad to explore business opportunities and expand the markets for halal products and services.
