Genting Malaysia Opens Applications for GENM Scholarship 2025 to Invests in the Leaders of Tomorrow
Genting Highlands, 30 July 2025 – Genting Malaysia Berhad (GENM) is proud to announce the launch of its 2025 Scholarship Programme, continuing its long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility and the nation’s talent development.
Since its establishment in 2006, the GENM Scholarship has enabled hundreds of bright, deserving Malaysian students to pursue higher education, many of whom have gone to become leaders in their respective industries.
This year, in conjunction with its Diamond Jubilee and 60th anniversary, GENM is broadening its support to outstanding individuals who exemplify academic excellence and strong leadership potential in realising their ambitions.
Applications are now open and will close on 15 August 2025.

Who is eligible?
The GENM Scholarship is open to Malaysian citizens aged 23 or below who are awaiting admission to a full-time undergraduate programme at a local or international university. Applicants must meet one of the following academic criteria:
- STPM/ A-Level: Minimum of 3 As;
- Diploma/ Foundation: Minimum CGPA of0;
- Orequivalent achievements in other recognised pre-university
Candidates must also demonstrate active involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership roles and a commitment to personal growth. Priority will be given to applicants from households earning below RM10,000 per month, and who are not currently receiving any other scholarships or financial assistance.
The scholarship paves the way for students to pursue studies in key fields that are shaping Malaysia’s future, including Hospitality, Engineering, IT, Business and more.
