Zizan is nervous about making Heistdilfitri a success
For the FIRST time taking on the responsibility of a director, actor Zizan Razak admitted he was nervous when directing the telefilm Heistdilfitri.
According to Zizan, he used all his experience acting with great directors such as Syafiq Yusof to make his first telefilm a success.
“Of course the feeling of nervousness is there, for the first time asking other actors to do that and this. I’m usually the one who accepts instructions to make a character succeed.
“Alhamdulillah I used a lot of acting experience with great directors like Syafiq Yusof. But actually I have a lot more to learn.
“God willing if we try we can be as good as them,” said Zizan.
Zizan teamed up with comedian Issey Fazlisham as co-director of Heistdilfitri which will be shown on the second Syawal, at 10am on Astro Ria.
Thankfully the cast helped a lot on the set, Zizan said it is not easy to be a director and act and publish at the same time.
“I am thankful that all the actors are very professional and helped a lot on the filming set. As a novice director, I talked a lot with Issey.
“Besides that, we also asked the opinions of other actors. In short, this time I feel a great responsibility as a director, actor and drama producer.
“Often we think of just acting. There are many things that we need to consider when we want to make this project a success,” he said.
The special Syawal telefilm also stars Shikin Kamal, Khir Rahman, Maria Farida and Jihaa Sham.
