Solid Combination! ZAWFAN Performs Rahmanir Rahim’s Bismillahir Song With Nazrey Johani
Aiming to revive the nasyid they miss, the newest group, ZAWFAN performed a song called Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim with Nazrey Johani.
According to one of the members of ZAWFAN, Fadzli Radzi, the song was produced from various elements and influences in addition to having the characteristics of universal Islamic music.
“From a musical point of view, it was found that this song takes from various elements and influences including the archipelago, the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
“This is not something foreign in the original nasyid because the characteristics of Islamic music which are universal in nature should take and benefit from all human traditions both from the East and the West,” he said.
Meanwhile, Yasir, who is also a member of the group, said that the collaboration of the former lead singer of the group Raihan is a cohesive combination of voices.
“In fact, the combination of the lead singer of the ZAWFAN group, Yasir Tamizi and the former lead singer of the Raihan group, Nazrey Johani is a cohesive and very good voice collaboration, we feel.
“The two vocals complement each other, with a simple delivery that successfully engages the listener in the original rhythm like at the beginning of Raihan’s appearance,” he said.
ZAWFAN consists of Hafiz Tarmizi, Fadzil Radzi and Yasir Tarmizi.
