Zamani’s body is no longer ‘curved’, the spine has been successfully corrected
KUALA LUMPUR: Zamani’s suffering with a ‘curved’ body is over when the surgery to correct his spine due to scoliosis was successful.
Not only the body of the main vocalist of the Slam group has returned to normal, Zamani can even walk comfortably and has been discharged from the hospital.
The happy news was shared by his wife, Nur Juliana Abd Rani on her social media account around two hours ago.
In the message, Nur Juliana expressed her appreciation to the entire medical team of a private hospital who operated on her husband.
Nur Juliana said, as long as Zamani received treatment, her husband received excellent treatment.
“Millions of thanks to everyone who cared and prayed for Zamani throughout his surgery until today,” Nur Juliana wrote again.
At the same time, Nur Juliana thanked the country’s famous lawyer, Datuk Aznil Nawawi who had pioneered the initiative to raise funds to help fund Zamani’s surgery.
“We would like to thank Pak Nil (Aznil), all the fans, the media and the fundraisers for Zamani. We appreciate all your kindness and prayers until the end of our lives,” said Nur Juliana again.
Last Monday, 51-year-old Zamani underwent surgery to correct a curved spine due to scoliosis at a private medical center in Cheras, near here.
The procedure took almost seven hours and the singer had to be put to sleep before the surgery was performed.
Zamani has also been advised by the doctor to rest for up to three months before returning to work.
“According to the doctor’s explanation, I can recover within two to six weeks depending on the body’s resistance.
“During this period, I need to seek follow-up treatment and undergo physiotherapy training.
“However, I will recover until I can be active again, it may take up to three months. That depends on the strength of the antibodies,” said Zamani as reported by the media.
