Yuna’s first Malay-language EP in six years is coming out on April 27
Masih Yuna will feature four new all-Malay tracks, with Menanti already availabe on streaming platforms
Masih Yuna is Yuna’s first collection of Malay language songs since 2017’s Bicara.
YUNA dropped the first details of her new extended play (EP), named Masih Yuna, in a tweet on April 9.
The singer-songwriter’s new effort features four new tracks: Menanti, Asing, Masih Sunyi, and Camaderie, which will be available to the public on April 27.
Menanti was released on March 17 and is available on a variety of music streaming platforms, such as Apple Music and Spotify.
The song is Yuna’s first in Malay in six years, since Bicara in 2017. In an Instagram post, she described the thought process behind the track, as well as why it’s dedicated to her late cousin.
“I hope you’ll love this song as much as i loved making it. Writing this song and this EP for my bahasa speaking fans is truly the highlight of my 2023. I absolutely love every minute of it,” Yuna said.
