YouTube star Jamal Edwards dies

British ENTREPRENEUR and YouTube star Jamal Edwards has died at the age of 31.

News of his departure was confirmed by SBTV company to the BBC news agency on Sunday.

No details on the cause of death were provided.

The founder of the online music company has previously helped launch the careers of several well -known artists including Dave, Ed Sheeran and Jessie J.

Well-known artist AJ Tracey was among the first to offer his condolences on his passing with a post on his Twitter account.

Edwards was awarded an MBE for his contributions to the world of music in 2014.

He was also an ambassador for Prince’s Trust, a body that helps youths open their own companies.
