‘We’re not fighting’ – Qi Razali believes Radhi is capable of steering OAG
OAG drummer Qi Razali, 46, has decided to step down from the band OAG after 30 years together.
However, Qi said, the decision to leave the group was not due to a disagreement with other members.
“Yes, officially I have left the OAG and I made this decision not on the basis of us arguing or having a disagreement.
“No, I have already thought that this is the best decision for me. I believe Radhi is the best person to steer OAG,” he explained in a video uploaded on his Instagram account.
In fact, Qi said, he believes OAG’s vocalist Radhi is able to steer and lead the group’s direction well.
“We were friends not for three days or three months, three years but 30 years and I am sure he will pray for the best for me just as I pray for the best for him.
“So my story with OAG is only here, but my journey in the world of art will continue whether it’s music, acting, hosting, whatever it is, I will still pursue my ambitions and dreams.
“I wish the best for everyone and I hope people will also wish the best for me,” he explained.
FYI, Qi has been with OAG since the band was formed in the early 1990s. Apart from Qi, OAG also consists of Radhi (vocalist), Ammal Bellamy (guitarist) and Nazrin Zabidi (bass).
