Warner Music Group Taps Armin Zerza as CFO to Steer Next Phase of Growth

Warner Music Group (NASDAQ: WMG) has announced the appointment of Armin Zerza as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective May 5, as the company sets its sights on long-term innovation and global expansion.

Zerza, most recently CFO of Activision Blizzard, brings three decades of financial and operational leadership across the entertainment, tech, and consumer sectors. His role in guiding Activision’s strategic initiatives and overseeing its acquisition by Microsoft signals the kind of experience WMG hopes to leverage.

CEO Robert Kyncl expressed confidence in the new appointment, stating that Zerza’s operational excellence and forward-thinking mindset will play a critical role in shaping WMG’s financial future.

Zerza will succeed Bryan Castellani, who will support the leadership transition before stepping down. “I’m thrilled to join such an iconic and progressive company,” said Zerza, calling WMG’s potential “tremendous.”
