Wan Azizah launched the book ‘Pesona Personaliti’
SHAH ALAM: The Prime Minister’s wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail today launched the book Pesona Personaliti: The Art of Knowing Yourself and Changing Personalities, by Muna ‘Izzah Fadzil, here.
Wan Azizah in her speech said that such works need to be multiplied to help readers improve themselves in a more positive direction in addition to fostering good values in society.
She also called on the community to play an active role as agents of change in the community.
“Spread information and awareness about the assistance provided, especially that which helps women, for example in the field of entrepreneurship, job search, psychosocial assistance, legal advice assistance and so on.
“We want to ensure that all levels of society, especially women, get appropriate help. What is more important is the awareness or willingness of each individual to seek help, especially in cases involving safety and life such as domestic violence, abuse and neglect and health mentally,” he said.
Meanwhile, Muna ‘Izzah said the writing of the book was based on experience and knowledge gathered from childhood until now, in addition to serving as a lawyer and image consultant.
“The phase of grief due to the loss of my mother and grandfather consecutively in the last two years, is one of the reasons I wrote this book to get back on my feet,” he said.
