Veteran actress Aripah Damanhuri passed away
Veteran actress, Aripah Damanhuri, 73, died at 8.15am this morning after being suspected of having a bacterial infection in her lungs.
His son, Nurpais Ismail, 42, through a voice message informed that the deceased died at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).
“Sorry to disturb, I want to inform you that my mother, Aripah Damanhuri just passed away this morning at HKL.
“After being bathed and shrouded, the body will be taken to Surau At-Tarbiah Al-Islamiah Taman Melewar, Batu Caves for prayers.
“God willing, the remains will be buried before noon at the Taman Batu Muda Islamic Cemetery,” he said.
Aripah is the sister of actress Normah Damanhuri and also the aunt of actor, Ahya Rosli.
Earlier, Aripah was admitted to the HKL intensive care unit (ICU) ward at the end of April and was put to sleep after several organs were also infected.
