Vanidah Imran is happy that Rashidi Ishak chose Wan Hasliza as his wife
ALTHOUGH they have separated, actress Vanidah Imran admits that she is happy with the marriage of her ex-husband, actor Rashidi Ishak, to director Wan Hasliza Wan Zainuddin.
According to Vanidah or affectionately known as Vee, she has known Wan Hasliza for a long time and praised the woman’s personality.
“Actually, I’ve known Liza for a long time, and even acted in a movie under her direction. For me, Liza is a good person and I was actually very happy when I found out that Rashidi married her.
“Honestly, I’ve known for a long time that they want to get married, but I don’t want to tell others before they announce it themselves,” said Vanidah.
Vanidah shared that when met at the premiere of the movie called Imam at Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur recently.
According to Vanidah, she was relieved when Rashidi chose Hasliza as his wife since she was an educated woman.
“I told my daughter that she must like Hasliza. Because Hasliza is an educated, intelligent and pleasant person.
“After my son met Hasliza, he also liked Hasliza which was very pleasant indeed. So, I am relieved that Rashidi chose her as his wife.
“He is also a mature person and I am sure that this advantage allows him to handle married life well. Whatever, we are very okay with their marriage,” she said.
For the record, Vanidah married Rashidi on October 1, 2000 and they were blessed with two children, namely Mikhail Imran and Maryam Rashika.
However, the marriage that was built for 17 years was destroyed when they decided to divorce on 9 August 2018.
In July last year, Vanidah happily married an engineer, Arifabillah Idris, while Rashidi married Hasliza around February this year.
