Ustaz Azhar is getting better, needs follow-up treatment
KUALA TERENGGANU: Famous preacher, Ustaz Azhar Idrus is said to be getting better and able to continue his daily activities after being discharged from the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) here on March 19.
It is based on his latest development through a photo uploaded by a Facebook social media user using the pen name Dean Al-Barakah on Friday.
The photo showing Ustaz Azhar driving a car that is said to have been recorded on the drawbridge in Kuala Terengganu attracted attention and many prayed that he would continue to be healthy to continue religious lectures as usual.
“Alhamdulillah, our Murabbi is getting better.
“We all pray that Ustaz Azhar Idrus will be given good health and always in the mercy of Allah SWT,” wrote Dean Al-Barakah.
Meanwhile, according to sources close to the preacher, Ustaz Azhar has been able to leave the house for the past few days to do daily activities.
However, he said, based on the recommendation of the doctor who treated him at HSNZ before, the speaker has not yet been able to hold any speaking activities.
“He also still needs time to make some follow-up treatment appointments in the near future to ensure his health is fully recovered.
“Alhamdulillah, so far all parties understand his situation and give him space to rest from his busy schedule,” he said when contacted on Friday night.
Previously, the development of the independent speaker who was reportedly hospitalized went viral on social media.
The celebrity preacher was admitted to HSNZ on March 16 after allegedly suffering from health problems involving the lungs and heart.
While being treated at the hospital, he received many visits including from Sheikh Muhammad Nuruddin Marbu’ Al-Banjari and PAS President, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang.
