Ustaz Azhar Idrus was treated in hospital
KUALA TERENGGANU: Famous independent speaker, Ustaz Azhar Idrus was admitted to Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) due to health problems.
The matter was shared by the State Sports, Youth and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Development Exco, Wan Sukairi Wan Abdullah on his official Facebook after visiting the preacher on Thursday.
According to him, Ustaz Azhar Idrus or better known as UAI was admitted to hospital on Tuesday after complaining of being unwell.
“Alhamdulillah, the health of Murabbi Ummah, Al-Fadhil Ustaz Azhar Idrus is improving after undergoing treatment at the hospital.
“During Ustaz Al-Fadhil’s visit earlier, he also had time to joke with us while telling the story of the pain he is going through now.
“Please pray for Al-Fadhil Ustaz Azhar Idrus to be healed and Afiyah healthy, God willing,” he said, who also informed that UAI was transferred to the first class ward.
Previously, the Maghrib Ambang Ramadan lecture with Ustaz Azhar Idrus that was supposed to take place at Kampung Bukit Tadok Mosque, Kuala Telemung on Wednesday had to be postponed due to health problems.
“Postponed due to health reasons, pray for the recovery of Murabbi Ustaz Azhar Idrus,” said a post on Ustaz Azhar Idrus’ Facebook.
Several religious figures and political leaders also prayed for the health and well-being of Ustaz Azhar Idrus, including Exco Welfare, Women and Family Development and State National Unity, Hanafiah Mat.
