Use plagiarized luxury items, South Korean reality stars reap the rewards
South Korean reality TV STAR Song Ji-a has been hit hard by controversy over the use of fake or plagiarized luxury items.
He who is popular through the Single’s Inferno program is now sidelined from appearing in the latest episode of The Manager program.
“After holding discussions, we have decided not to broadcast the footage involving Song Ji-a”, said a representative of the program.
His appearances on several other programs, including Omniscient Interfering View and Knowing Bros., were also reported to have been edited.
Song, also a YouTuber and influencer known as FreeZia was recently criticized after netizens discovered jewelry, accessories and clothes allegedly used from luxury brands like Dior, Chanel and Van Cleef & Arpels were fake.
Last Monday, Song posted an apology on his Instagram account, and admitted that the allegations made against him were indeed true.
“I have deleted all the videos and pictures that contain the plagiarized items. I would also like to apologize to all the brands involved, “he said.
