Uploading provocative tweets, Kanye West’s social media account is blocked
KUALA LUMPUR: Due to repeatedly uploading posts and tweets that risk causing provocation, the Twitter and Instagram accounts of famous rappers have finally been blocked.
Quoting the Arab News report , a representative of the social media giant’s spokesperson informed Kanye West, now known as Ye, uploaded tweets that violated the company’s policy.
In the same tweet, an angry Kanye wrote “Y’all ‘playin’ with me and try to hit anyone who opposes your agenda.”
Under the policy of this social networking company, they strictly prohibit the use of offensive language.
Earlier this month, Ye was criticized for wearing a shirt that read “White Lives Matter” at Paris Fashion Week.
At the same time, Rap singer Sean “Diddy” Combs uploaded a video on Instagram slamming Ye’s actions and urging people not to buy them.
Meanwhile, Ye’s Twitter account is still active at the moment but cannot upload any tweets until the suspension date expires.
Meanwhile, billionaire and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, who renewed his US$44 billion (RM204 billion) offer to buy Twitter following a months-long legal dispute ‘welcomed’ Ye’s return to Twitter with a tweet, “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend.”
Musk said he would make Twitter a place of free speech and loosen restrictions if he ever took over the social media company.
