
Ungu concert has been rescheduled to December 26-27
KUALA LUMPUR : Concert organizer Star Planet announced today that the concert by Indonesian rock group Ungu, which was supposed to take place on November 18 and 19 in Kuala Lumpur, will be rescheduled to another date.
In a statement, the concert will be rescheduled for December 26 and 27, 2022 (November 19 to December 26, and November 18 to December 27).
Place and time remain unchanged.
Following on from the success of the concert series of various renowned artists from Indonesia in this country, Ungu’s plan to meet Malaysian fans received a positive response.
Portal Gempak.com on September 5 reported that the organizers have even added one more night to their anniversary concert to satisfy die-hard fans in Malaysia.
Just less than an hour since ticket sales were launched on August 30, the purchase record has already reached 85 percent.
The Purple group that was established in 1996 consists of vocalist Pasha, guitarists Enda and Oncy, bassist Makki, and drummer Rowman.
In 2005, their album titled Melayang achieved great success and made Ungu a superstar in Indonesia and the Asian continent.
The rescheduled concert will start at 8.30pm at the STAR Convention & Exhibition Centre, Menara PGRM in Kuala Lumpur.
Fans have already bought tickets which are sold at prices of RM188, RM238, RM328, RM388, RM458 and RM598.
All VVIP ticket buyers will receive a poster signed by Ungu and have the opportunity to take a group photo with Ungu.
