Ummi Nazeera has a reason to choose By Chefiza
Popular ACTRESS Ummi Nazeera admits that she is very fussy in accepting offers as an ambassador for any product.
For the Rindu Kasih drama series actress, the affordable Muslim product By Chefiza (BCF) managed to get her to agree to be an ambassador even though there were other brands who ‘proposed’ her before.
“Thank you to Mrs. Fiza for choosing me as an ambassador. This is my first time being an ambassador for hijab.
“Why did I choose By Chefiza? Yes, it’s true that I choose certain brands only. This is because it has a long-term effect.
“So when my manager told me about the ‘application’ as an ambassador for BCF, what I saw was that he had the branding, look and image of BCF itself.
“At the same time I believe that BCF suits me very well. That is one of the reasons why I said ‘yes’ to BCF,” he said in the media conference of his appointment as BCF ambassador, recently.
Ummi also admitted to being attracted by the personality of the Founder of By Chefiza, Che Nurul Hafizah Che Zulkifli, who she describes as a humble person and the success of the product makes her proud.
“I come from Besut, Terengganu. The accent there uses the Kelantan dialect. When I found out about this brand from Kelantan, I felt very proud that there is a brand that can make a name for itself here (Kuala Lumpur).
“So I am very proud of Puan Fiza who is guided by Ibu Hanim. This is the struggle of young people. After that Mrs. Fiza is a very humble person, so it suits me who is actually shy.
“So this existing compatibility further strengthens my reasons for agreeing to be a BCF ambassador,” she said.
Ummi also shared her experience of being so comfortable wearing a BCF hijab during a filming session.
“Touching about the BCF collection, when I wear this product (headscarf), this sarong headscarf is a must-have for every woman. Every house should have one, but we have an objective that all houses should have a BCF cover.
“When I wear it, the uniqueness is that even if you sweat, it sticks. Not only that, sometimes if we wear hijab, we can’t really hear what people are saying, but with BCF there is no problem.
“I wore this hijab when shooting the drama series Sekali Aku Bahagia (TV3) which will be shown in conjunction with this Ramadan, I was comfortable and it didn’t bother me while I was at the filming location,” she added.
While Che Nurul Hafizah said, the selection of Ummi Nazeera as an ambassador is because she conforms to the BCF brand concept which is modest, complies with Sharia and conforms to the company’s profile.
“With the appointment of Ummi Nazeera as an ambassador, coupled with the Raya campaign that will feature her who is now popular through the drama Rindu Kasih, BCF is confident that it will gain the trust of more women out there,” she said.
Meanwhile, Che Nurul Hafizah also said that his side is also targeting sales of various products such as hijabs, socks, hand socks, inner necks and snowcaps to reach RM32 million this year.
He said, compared to last year, sales recorded amounted to RM28 million and this increase will be contributed from enhanced promotional activities in 2023, an increase in the number of distributors and also a more effective marketing strategy through the Go To Market program.
BCF which is headquartered in Kota Bharu, Kelantan and has a production factory in Pengkalan Chepa supported by more than 60 tailors has six branches across the country.
