UK Distributors Madison and Fifth to Cease Trading
Following the passing of Madison and Fifth CEO Peter Miller Smith in October 2021, the UK family-run distribution company has decided to cease trading as from August 2022, with a 60% price reduction of products on the website from August 25th.
Since it started back in 2005 with Stetsbar replacement vibrato systems for electric guitars, sourced directly from Eric Stets in the USA, Madison & Fifth has established itself as one of the finest UK based distributors of professional problem-solving guitar accessories for the performing musician.
As a fine musician himself, Peter Miller Smith had an extreme passion for products that solved real issues for musicians of all levels, appointing brands offering quality, design and innovation that eradicate many of the issues that they may confront at home, in the studio, or live stage environment.
Popular brands that included amongst many, the unique Stetsbar replacement guitar vibrato systems, Integral Close Cab Miking system, 6 channel Pedal Snake multi-channel cables, Rockslide, Charlie’s Pedalboards, LOXX Accessories, V-Picks, StompLight Stage Lighting, Super VEE Vibratos, Vibes Hi-Fidelity earplugs and Nemphasis effect pedals.
The company is currently being run by Peter’s daughter Sukey, with her sister Chloe and mother Annabel, but the family feel the time has come to finally retire the business.

It was his knowledge, passion for the products he chose for the company and his place in the industry that really made Madison & Fifth what it was.
