Twitter loosens policy on political ads
Twitter will loosen the platform’s policy on political advertising.
MOSCOW: Twitter will relax the platform’s policy on political advertising, Sputnik reported .
“Today, we are relaxing our ad policy for cause-based ads in the US. We also plan to expand the allowed political advertising over the next few weeks,” the company said.
Twitter also plans to harmonize its advertising policies with those implemented by US television and other mass media services.
Twitter currently prohibits the promotion of political content on the platform.
