MOSCOW: Twitter will introduce an option that allows media outlets to charge users who occasionally intend to read an article, the social media platform’s CEO Elon Musk said on Saturday.
“To be launched next month, this platform will allow media publishers to charge users for each article with a single click.
“This allows users who do not sign up for a monthly subscription to pay a higher price per article if they want to read the article,” Musk wrote on Twitter, Sputnik reported.
He said the new function is to provide a win-win situation for media and users.
