Trump spoke for the first time since the impeachment
WASHINGTON: Former United States (US) President Donald Trump said the only crime he ever committed was “fearlessly” defending the US and described the “false case” brought against him solely to disrupt the 2024 US presidential election.
“I never thought something like that could happen in America.
“This bogus case was brought only to disrupt the upcoming 2024 election and the case should be dropped immediately,” Trump told supporters at Mar-a-Lago, Florida, Anadolu Agency reported.

“They also came with a new measure… through the Espionage Act… of 1917 whose punishment is death,” he said.
