Theme park tragedy, 10 visitors were injured 50 meters down
At least 10 visitors to the Dussehra Ground in Phase 8 of Mohali city, fell from a height of around 50 meters when the game they were riding on fell to the ground from its tower, on Sunday night.
In the incident in Punjab, India, all the victims who were mostly injured in the head and neck, and in a state of shock, were rushed to two hospitals to receive treatment.
All are reported to be in a stable and safe condition.
Earlier, they were present at the game site to celebrate the ‘London Bridge’ party which should have ended on August 31 but was extended until September 11.
Meanwhile, the organizer of the party, Sunny Singh, informed that he will investigate this incident as soon as possible.
“There seems to be a technical problem. In the past, we have organized several parties but never this kind of incident.
“We will cooperate with the authorities,” he said according to a Hindustan Times report .
