The visit of the announcer, Era radio station crew to help promote the city of Ipoh – Datuk Bandar
IPOH: The Ipoh City Council (MBI) is always looking for ways to collaborate with various parties in promoting the city widely.
The visit of Era radio station announcer and crew to Ipoh on Friday night somewhat opened the curtain in expanding the strategic network with the popular radio station.
The mayor of Ipoh, Datuk Rumaizi Baharin said, if there is room to collaborate with the radio station, one of the main focuses is for overall promotion and training purposes.
“An example like this, apart from listening to the radio. We also hope Era radio to train the team that MBI moves including behind the scenes.
“If Ipoh wants to become a city of culture or art as previously announced, not only artists but all industries need to be developed.
“If there is room we can work with Astro as a strategic partner to develop this city. Not only Astro but other parties,” he said.
He said this at a press conference after officiating the Free 120 Liter Trash Can Delivery Program at Taman Perpaduan Koperasi, here on Saturday.
Yesterday the Era radio squad visited one of the water theme parks in this city, in addition to continuing TouERA for a day, on Saturday.
Through TouERA, Era radio presenters will meet people at Mydin Supermarket, Meru Raya.
Era radio presenters present are Radin, Nabil, Haniff, Ray, Muna Bella, Zahier and Isha Norsham.
The Era radio squad’s visit can also indirectly promote some of the main tourism products in Ipoh.
