The Sultan of Selangor recalled the past listening to Radio Klasik
SHAH ALAM: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah praised the move by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) to maintain the Radio Klasik channel specifically for fans of classical and traditional Malay songs.
Selangor Royal Office in a post on Facebook informed, he has been a loyal listener of the radio medium for a long time.
According to the transmission, he himself always chose to listen to the Radio Klasik station while in the vehicle and was also often entertained by a selection of old songs selected by Radio Klasik the night before the fight.
“He acknowledged that most of the songs played by Radio Klasik evoke memories of the past and remind him of important histories that he had gone through.
“Not only the classical songs, he was also interested in the excerpts of religious talks at dawn on the Classical Radio which are compact and useful.
“The selection of important news stories presented were also well-edited, concise and clear,” according to the post on Sunday.
His Majesty at the same time expressed his Happy World Radio Day 2022 which was celebrated today.
Sultan Sharafuddin also agreed to give credit (praise and appreciation) to the management of Radio Klasik and hoped that the radio station would continue to serve as an entertainment platform and deliver accurate information to all listeners and fans who are still loyal.
