The story of the life of the princess of pop , Britney Spears will be made into a movie when Universal Pictures has acquired the rights to adapt the famous star’s memoir.
Her memoir titled The Women in Me published on 24 October 2023 became one of the best-selling autobiographical books with more than three million copies sold worldwide.
Based on reports, the film will be directed by Jon M. Chu who is the director of Crazy Rich Asians while the producer is Marc Platt who has produced many films such as La la Land and Chicago.
Taking a look at X’s page, the singer who is popular with the song Sometimes also shared this with his followers.
“Excited to share with my fans that I am working on a secret project with Marc Platt. He has always produced my favorite films…. Stay tuned,” Britney shared on Friday morning.
Looking back, The Women in Me is a memoir book that has 275 pages and was written by Britney Spears herself.
Since its publication, the book, which is on the first chart in the New York Times Best Selling, has been translated into 26 languages.
