The SPR website was disrupted immediately after the PM announced the dissolution of parliament
KUALA LUMPUR: The official website portal of the Election Commission (SPR) experienced disruption or disruption immediately after the announcement of the dissolution of Parliament by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Based on Astro AWANI ‘s survey as of 4.24pm on the website, it only displays error notices ‘502 Bad Gateway’ and ‘The Page is Not Working’.
In fact, the Electoral Register Review link (MySemak SPR) also displayed the same notice since the announcement of the dissolution of Parliament at 3pm yesterday but it was restored at 4.30pm.
The situation is believed to occur due to the high amount of traffic to access the site to check the voter register to check the respective polling areas.
